As the wife of a retired Air Force officer, Rosalyn Johnson Valdez has lived all over the world with her military family. Rosalyn earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Kentucky and a master’s degree in Instructional Psychology from the University of Oklahoma’s former Republic of Panama branch. Through the years, Rosalyn mostly worked as a stay-at-home mom of four now-grown children. Despite frequent military moves, Rosalyn gained writing experience as an advertising copywriter in South Dakota and as an English 101 teacher in Belgium. Rosalyn self-published a young adult book series, Kiosk Cousins, and another novel, Another Marseille, through Amazon KDP. Rosalyn currently serves as a family caregiver for her mother, who has Alzheimer’s disease.
